Settling Into a New Environment

This past weekend, our counselors had their first meeting for the summer and even though not everyone was present, we couldn’t have been happier with the turnout.  We have begun planning our activities and classes, which are going to be bigger and better than previous years.  After all, we have to accommodate 180 campers this year!  Along with the activity and class planning, we also took the time to begin our T-shirt design for camp.

Of course, our two day meeting wouldn’t have been successful without sheep, ore, wood, brick, and wheat. Along with those five items as the cornerstone to our bonds, we were able to build a stronger bond over karaoke, where we sang old camp songs together and went through all of our favorite Disney songs.

Don’t let the photo fool you, we’re ready for camp!
